In a saucepan, add the syrup and egg yolks, cooked like a zabaglione, whisking vigorously to make it more solid. Allow to cool, stirring occasionally. Add the whipped cream. In individual ovenproof put the fruit and cover with the cream. Place under broiler for a few minutes.
